As it says in the title, I press the brake pedal at low speeds and the module on the fender well makes a growling noise thus causing loss of braking capacity.
It was going to cause me to rear end someone so I unplugged the module which stopped the problem but I'd like to fix it the right way or even just delete the whole system.
The truck is a 1998 Yukon 4wd four door.
My last truck , a 1997 Tahoe 4wd four door, had the same problem but it was occasional so it didn't bother me as much.
One thing I have noticed.
They both started this after I replaced the OEM wheel bearings with Presicion brand hub assemblies.
Any thoughts, suggestions or fixes are appreciated.
