95 cats on 96-99 tahoe?

Will the catalytic converter from a 95 model (one cat) still bolt up to the manifolds of a 96-99 model (2 cats)? I want to put a 95 model y pipe on my 97 instead of the cats.

Forget it. you can not get the system to work properly.

You can get the system to work, you'll need to add a bung to the drivers side, the passengers side has one. You'll need rear O2 sensors. You can make it work.
