I'm trying to decide between the 2.5" RC lift and the 1.5" RL leveling kit. I think I'd choose which kit to go with based on the tires. I like the Nitto Recon Grappler 275/65R20s because they offer a non-LT tire in that 34.1" size...the reason is I do a lot of highway driving and don't want too different of a ride from the lift and the tires. But I don't want to go with the 275/65R20s if they'll look too dainty with the 2.5" lift. If I go with a heavier tire (and therefore go wider and maybe 34.6-35") will the drive be that much rougher/louder/etc. or am I making too big a deal about the heavier truck tires?

Any pictures of either of those lifts with 275/65R20s ? Or those lifts with the bigger tires?

There are p rated 285/60/20 Toyo open country. That’s probably the route I will go.

We're still on the fence regarding lifts, the setup we're looking at is almost $6k without installation so the wife is feeling gun shy. The garbage Goodyear tires wore out in 20k miles so we needed new tires and we go out on the trail now and then so we went much more aggressive than stock with a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs in the stock 275/60r20. They hum a tiny bit, but they ride and drive very similar to stock.

Installed RC 2.5 lift. Will post in mega lift thread. Tires are 285/60R20. They do rub with +1 offset rims.
