The newer Tahoes do not have the ground clearance of the older straight axle truck Tahoes. They are for driving the kids to soccer practice in town. Check the pictures above. Here is another up on the Bighorn mountains. Two miles up a rutted muddy road from the pavement. One of my nephews got his 4WD Tundra stuck and had to get out the traction mats. I'm planning a trip to Alaska off the beaten path this summer.
