I have the "use while driving" option (2009 denali) and I just keep it on... I never tried to enter a destination while driving or anything like that, but I'll let you know when I get back home (a week)

Haven't tried the DVD while driving part, but the NAV entry works while driving. I believe you can get this on any Yukon/Tahoe/Escalade with the latest nav disc. What version do you have?

Keep in mind that the Escalades use a completely different Nav system and disc versions. Your 2010 Denali may not let you enter an address on that Nav, but a 2010 Escalade will because that's how its specific Nav was programmed.

5.0 truck built last month.. I can't see GM all of a sudden decding to let us "do it" think it's a misunderstanding.

Oops, edited my post while you were typing! You should go test out a 2010 Escalade and see. Maybe some do it while others don't.

The latest Escalade "SuperNav" disc is 8.3, something totally different than the standard Nav's 5.0c.

Also, our 08 Yukon and 07 LTZ Tahoe don't have this option... I'm a little anxious to get home and try it now.

Hers does that, I think, I will try tomorrow. I remember her going on about something like this. The 8.3 disc won't work in the Denali because its a different Nav. If you have 5.0c, then you have the latest available disc. I think the 5.0 is a different (older) disc than 5.0c. Upgrading to the "c" might make a difference.
