04 Tahoe Not starting

I typically dislike making new posts but I browsed/googled for a while and believe I'd get a more accurate response via guys/gals who've had exact same issue.

Truck has been running fine, went to turn key and nothing. No click, but all the power came on. Battery light was on as well.

To follow up, last August or so, the starter was replaced and less than 2 months ago the battery had a dead cell and was replaced.

Attempted to jump truck, and got nothing. Again, no click...nada.


Where should I look first, I'm not mechanically inclined but I'm slowly learning instead of being a complete goof.

I would start by checking all of the connections. At the battery, the starter, and starter silonoid.

This first. Very good suggestions.

If everything looks good, test the starter directly. See if it cranks.

like he said before check all yer terminals on yer charging system for loose terminals
whats yer batterys resting voltage?
after the car has been off for like 30 minutes
also try jumping the starter solenoid
