03 Yukon Console Wire Harness Melted

Ok, have a head scratcher. 03 Yukon center console electronics not working, cig lighter, aux power plug, rear HVAC control, rear power plug. Also 25 amp cig lighter fuse blows.. Removed entire console and found the wire harness almost completely melted together... Radio still working. Replaced the harness with brand new... GM Part Number 15838043. Radio display works, no sound... no acc power or lighter or rear hvac working. Disconnected the battery before unplugging anything. Cannot find the wire harness PN which 15838043 attaches to... thinking the problem may be up stream further as cig lighter fuse still blows regardless of what is connected.

You may have better luck in the 03 section as this is the 2015+ section. Completely different console.
