What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yesterday I got new tires. Today I added 1.25inch spacers until I can get new wheels. Gives it a more aggressive look and keeps my new tires from rubbing on my new upper control arms. So now it's has the 3.5" lift up front. 3" in the back. 33" tires.

33" tire width on stock suburban 18" wheels?

Here it is! LT175/70 r18 tires with 1.25" spacers all around on the stock wheels to give it a little more aggressive look and to keep the tires from rubbing on the new uca's

    silverado fender flares for tahoe/suburban

I'm looking for some fender flares for my suburban and am wondering if anyone has these or similar ones that will fit? If not, I wonder how much modding would be involved to make these work?

33" tire width on stock suburban 18" wheels?

I'm going to put new tires on my suburban. I have a 3" leveling kit on front and 3.5 on back. I want the biggest tire I can fit with little to no trimming. I have read that's a 33"? What width tire should I get for the stock rims. That will stick out maybe an inch or so but nothing too dramatic...

    Questions on Suburban lift.

Got the lift installed! 3" in the back 3.5" in the front. I'm gonna do the diff drop this weekend. Then I just need new, bigger tires!

    New upper control arm question

I installed new upper control arms to go with my lift in front. I'm not sure if they should be this close to the frme when the tires are down or is that just the nature of it with the lift? Or did I not install them right? Or will it be resolved when I get an alignment?

Also blacked out my rear emblem. I need to redo it though. I messed up on the cutting of the vinyl.

Hahaha now I feel stupid for not thinking of that. That's what I'll do! Thanks!

    Questions on Suburban lift.

Thanks for the reply. Suburban is the same as lifting the tahoe or yukon for these model years. Same kits work. I do offroad quite a bit, which is why I want the lift. So it sounds like it would probably be better just to do upper control arms and stuff too. So If I want to keep a little rake...

    Questions on Suburban lift.

I want to lift my 2015 Suburban. I think 3.5" at the most since I dont think that will require any major cutting for drop brackets etc. I want 32 or 33" tires. My question is for that little of lift should I do anything other than top and bottom strut spacers in front (2.5" top and 1" bottom)...

Maybe overthinking but I feel like my suburban runs too hot...

Thanks. I dont really have a choice but to fix it as I can't sell it with a bad head gasket and I need a car. I'm in Utah.

Ouchies...anyone know the rough cost on getting that fixed? The shop I took it to doesn't do them.

Maybe overthinking but I feel like my suburban runs too hot...

So I took it to a mechanic and they told me that "they hooked it up to there machine and it had a hydrocarbon level in the 80's which tells them that it has a cracked head gasket or cylinder head" does that sound right? Or should I get a second opinion? I don't have antifreeze in my oil and am...

Had it for about 6 months. I've put about 10k miles on it. It just recently (within the last 1.5 months) started heating up. I changed the thermostat because it would never heat up past about 1/4 of the guage. Happened after I changed my thermostat and water pump pulley (it was chattering). It...

Alright, I had a little time today so I hooked up my Bluetooth obd adapter and drove around for an hour. Pulled up the coolant temp in torque. After it warms up it runs most of the time at between 215 and 220 degrees. I got up to 237 twice. Each time I was accelerating to get on the highway...

Is there a way to tell if the water pump is bad other than switching it out?

I checked fans by pulling over when it's hot and the fan is on. A/C runs fine too. Car is cool inside with the ac on

The rad fan is on when the thermostat kicks on and when it's hot

Maybe overthinking but I feel like my suburban runs too hot...

Backstory: I had a 2004 suburban with the 5.3. The temp Guage always hung at 210 no matter if it was hot outside, I was towing, whatever. My 2015 suburban seems to run really hot. For the most part it stays at 210 unless iget the RPMs up around 3k then it climbs to about 220-235 before cooling...

burp coolant system, truck running hot!

So I replaced the thermostat, water pump pulley, coolant temp sensor, leaking radiator hose and coolant reservoir tank. My 2015 suburban (5.3) still gets up to about 3/4 or higher on the temperature guage before cooling down. I'm guessing there is air somewhere in my cooling system. I have tried...

Do these spark plugs look normal?

I'm not sure on the tuner yet. I don't like how you have to buy credits and the tuner with HP. Then again maybe HP does a better job than somwrhing like a Diablo? I am going to learn to do it myself. I already downloaded the stock transmission shift values and some modified ones people have done...

Do these spark plugs look normal?

Yeah they definitely needed it. It didn't run bad before but I do notice quite an increase in power that I didn't know it originally had lol
