    01 Cabin Air Filter Swap

A little trick I learned for changing mine without loosening (or losing for that matter) that accursed screw up against the firewall - If you look at the filter trim piece, follow it backwards from the screw (as in picture 1 on the first post ) and up to just under the hinge point in the dash...

    Illuminated cup holders Tahoe (How-to)

None. I wired them directly to the 12V switched line. I do not know if you can get them to dim or not, that may require a resistor of some kind.

    Illuminated cup holders Tahoe (How-to)

How I lit my cupholders Ask and Ye Shall Receive - Click me! And a discussion about wiring it. Pretty easy project to do. Got the LEDs off of eBay. Just a matter of wiring them into a switch. Any questions fire away.

    Body Lift vs Suspension Lift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor mans lift - get yourself a set of Ford F150 torsion keys. Yes, FORD keys. They fit just fine, and only run about $26 each. Swap the keys out and you can crank up the front end to be completely level with your rear. Spend about $50 more and get a set of coil spacers to lift the rear and...

    True duels baby....

Thanks for remembering me, I got invited over here a few weeks ago..... In due seriousness, if the exhaust note is irritating you may want to line your floors with RamMat, or some other type of sound deadener. Will help manage the noise considerably. EffinDenali, the "drone" he is referring...

RT, you change your mind more often than people change their underwear. If that thing drones, I know you will be out shopping for a new truck. Or a car. Or whatever else is the flavor of the day.

    Post your lifted trucks here!!!

Thanks much for the compliment. Yep, Mojave's, I took the center caps off for my trip out West last month (didnt want to lose them on a trail) and liked the look enough to keep them off. Bowtie, your rig pretty much pegs the bad-ass meter by the way. C'mon people, there's GOTTA be more...

College Student, New TaHoe. Pics and Introduction

Congrats on the purchase. Kudos for building up a good down payment. A suggested mod - you can power your radar detector off of the wiring harness that is inside of the rear view mirror, I have seen the mod done before and it looks slick as all get out. Nice ride. Welcome to the party.

    Side Mirror

How to replace your glass Get the replacement mirror glass. I think I have seen them on eBay if you cant find them local. To replace, push your mirror in towards the hinge with your hands as far as it goes. Using a flashlight look inside the mirror assembly. You will see that there is a round...

    bulldogging

F150 torsion bar keys. They fit on our torsion bars, only cost about $25 each and allow you to adjust your bars much as you like. I still have about an inch of adjustment left in the key adjustment bolts and my truck sits level, so the torsion bars are not maxed at all.

    Finding matched Trim paint

If you are painting interior, I would recommend vinyl. I cheated on my custom center console project, I took a trim piece into Home Depot and had them color match a small can of Behr flat exterior paint and the color turned out great. Pics of the console are on page 1 of my Cardomain page...

    lift advice

I have a 2"coil spacer lift with F150 keys on cranked torsion bars on my rig. Been like that for about a year with no issues. You will need a longer than normal shock though if you do a modification like this, to prevent any overextension of your shocks. Delrin or metal spacers will work...
