    Theres a test port for fuel right behind throttle body and im getting fuel there, still dont have the f/p tester. As for the spark i am gettin power to all 8 it looks kind of weak to me, but i havnt used a tester for that just yet either. All of the parts u mentioned above have been replaced...

    No, no start at all and it isnt even popping. My plugs are dry so im thinkin maybe the spider assembly has problems but that still dosnet explain why it wouldnt do anything with starting fluid

    I might take the b1 valve cover off just to be sure im at tdc compression on 1 but im sure i got it..yes it cranks but it wont even pop let alone start. I have tried starting fluid and still nothing. The passlock light is off along with all other dash lights. (The batterys been out for a while...

    Also i can not spin oil pump gear with a screw driver...when dis. Is in and cranking i have oil on gears when removed but i cant spin it manually

    This is what i have been doing and still have a no start..would else could cause it? this is assuming that ground strap wouldnt cause a no start as i havnt fixed it yet

    Im not exactly following u my rotor keeps ending up on driver side aligning with the #8 on dis body and the #1 cylinder on cap unless the rotor is suppose to point towards 2 or 8 on the cap but that goes against lining it up with the "8" on distributor body like the directions are saying

    I have a broken ground strap on passenger side near firewall..its bolted up higher on f/w not sure where the other end goes maybe down by starter? Anyone have info on this?

    I got a tough one..my 96 tahoe sport (5.7 vortec) lost spark going down the road (coil died)..since then i have pulled distributor as it needed changed anyway and now i can not get truck to run, can get it to pop a little depending on dis postion..have spark and i am getting fuel. Bought new...
