    Suspension swap

As long as the distances and clearances allow, I see no reason why you can't do what you want. That said, I think the NBS (GMT900) trucks use a rack-and-pinion setup rather than a draglink like our OBS (GMT400) trucks.

    Leaf spring bushing replacement advice

You have to remove the leaf springs to access the bushings (the spring eye fully covers them). You have to drop the fuel tank on the driver side to access the hanger bolt.

Polyurethane leaf spring bushings or not?

As Swathdiver said... polyurethane is known for squeaking. Lube well and you'll be fine (re-lube when squeaks occur).

Should I buy a full exhaust?

I'm a Magnaflow fan (over Walker). Material quality and reviews seem to be a bit better.

will 265/65 R18 tires fit a stock suspension 97 Tahoe?

All day... that's a roughly a 31.5" x 10.5" tall tire. Basically it's an optional factory tire diameter. Assuming your 1997 is a 4x4 with non-sagging suspension, you should be fine. My Tahoe (effectively with a 1" drop... 2" spindle drop + 1" coil spacer) previously had 265/65/17 without any...

    Rust prevention

There's a product that's similar to Fluid Film called NH Oil Undercoating. Based on videos I've seen, it's preferred over Fluid Film - better scent and "re-blacks" the underside/coated surfaces. Check out https://nhoilundercoating.com/

    Window deflectors

I know this may be a bit late, but I've got WeatherTech in-channel deflectors... no problem with the clips holding them in, it's a press-fit. Prior to the WeatherTech's, I had the AVS ones that tape to the metal/paint of the door above the windows.

    Tahoe Frame Rust

Can't say the are "known" for rust, but environment plays a huge part... salt + moisture + steel = rust Not sure if that helps your decision making process, but it's the reality of metal. There's a company out called NH Oil Undercoating that makes a product that works to inhibit/stop the rust...

    CB Antenna

Don't have a good pic of my mount, but I drilled a hole in the roof (over the cargo area). This location gives a great ground plane, with just a bit of forward bias.

    Looking for LED Headlights

Late to the party here, but would highly recommend that you do your research before purchasing. All LED bulbs are not good bulbs...and truthfully, the good ones are going to cost you some decent money. That said, take a look at www.headlightrevolution.com The Supernova v.4 LED bulbs are VERY...

    14x1.5 Low Profile Lug Nuts

Your spacer (wheel adapter) should be 1.5" or more to clear the lugs with no issue. Assuming the adapters you purchased are less than the 1.5"and that you're wanting to keep the adapters you purchased, you'll have to cut the lugs to be shorter (not recommended practice).

    Radiator Change

Check out Radiator Express... http://www.radiatorexpress.com/part-lookup/radiator/gmc/2004/yukon/denali/60l-v8 Personally recommend them. If you've got the extra coin, go for the all aluminum variety with the greater cooling capacity. Also as stated previously, get the two cooler option, if...

Any one have a Jotto Radio Console with a Hoe's stock console too?

Didn't use a Jotto, but many years ago I installed a radio console (purchased off of ebay) between the dash and factory console. The factory console had to be moved rearward a bit for it to fit. Couldn't tell you the name of the radio console, but it used to be used in patrol vehicles - all...

Getting my 1996 Yukon back on the road

Could be as simple as distributor being 180* out... Though unlikely if you followed the spider numbers, it could be that one or more injectors are in the wrong cylinder.

    Relays!!!

If you replace the entire compressor, you'll have to add oil. Any oil that may be present would be remnant from factory testing and not enough for a running system. I've got an "AC flush/replace kit" in my garage waiting on me to learn how to flush an AC system. I would personally replace the...

    Relays!!!

Anything is possible... Yes, the compressor can be taken off the engine without discharging. Most try to make the engine removal process easier by disconnecting the hoses from the compressor (easier to maneuver the hoses without the compressor being attached). Yes, it's very possible that it...

    Relays!!!

Can't answer your PDL relay question, but I can say that I've had similar PDL issues in the past... replacing the door lock actuators resolved my issues (couldn't manually lock/unlock with key). Not saying my issue is the same as what you're dealing with, but you mentioned "randomness" which I...

    Let’s talk steering differences....

Glad you got it worked out... I actually reread your initial post on this thread and "I replaced tie-rod ends" stood out. Immediately my mind went back to when I replaced my tie-rod ends and connectors... it was a mess! Couldn't drive it down the street, let alone out of the neighborhood! I...

    Let’s talk steering differences....

I replaced the PS pump... The valving is a bit different than the EVO pump High pressure hose has different bends (use the 1997 pressure hose) You can, of course, unplug/remove the EVO sensor under the dash (I didn't fool with it... figured if there's nothing to receive/use the signal, no...

Almost what you said, "stiffer MORE CONSISTENT steering" is the result of removing the EVO system.

Torsion bar to coilover or dual shock experience in a Tahoe 98 ?

If you've got a 2-3" lift and your tires are large enough to need a bigger lift, it can certainly happen. Based on the pic you posted, I can see you scrubbing on a sufficiently large bump. While the 2-3" lift is probably more than sufficient for your street use, off-roading typically presents...

    Let’s talk steering differences....

If you replace the valve/power steering pump, the part on the column is effectively disabled. This is the setup/configuration my truck is in currently - EVO is effectively neutralized.

    Adjustable airbag suspension

Rocketman...we're on the same page. Nice setup!! You put pictures to the words in my head. When lowering, you're repositioning the frame mounting points upward...effectively dropping the vehicle. When lifting, you're typically lowering the frame mounting points...effectively lifting the...

    Let’s talk steering differences....

The bends I'm referring to are purely due to attachment depth/location. The valve/spring may play into that, but I don't have any specifics upon which to elaborate. Compare the power steering pumps and high pressure hoses between the 1997 and 1999 models and you'll see the difference is obvious.
