    The only thing I can think of is the battery had to be charged so maybe it's not getting the right voltage . But I trickle charged it .

    I noticed one of my bolts has a bend in it now ... and I'm at work but I will measure them in the morning and follow up . I didn't think much into the bolts because I took a gear reduction off and replaced it with the same . And I don't think it was bent before .

    99 Yukon with a l31. Yes it tested good and throws it out . It just seems like it isn't reaching out far enough . The gear has no wear or signs of hitting flex plate , still has the paint on it . I have two starter currently and neither of them work . They are both the new style starter

    lol if I reset the codes even tho it doesn't pull any. the gauge will go back to reading for a split second then go to empty and have the light on
