No resolution. I guess their theory of the CANBUS storing power wouldn't hold true for you if they are not installed. Must be another issue. I went back and forth over e-mail. I know this is the 3rd kit on this platform doing the same thing.
Maybe if a few of us call they will dive a little...
XD Support said the CANBUS stores power so there is likely a difference in power being stored between each adapter causing one light to stay on longer.
I did contact TRS as well and they said to swap the ballast side to side and see if prob follows. Not a huge issue, just a slight annoyance.
Strange issue I just noticed. Check video out. Driver bulb stays on for a few seconds after pass goes out. I emailed XD support. Anyone have any idea what might cause that? Both sides are wired identically with the exception of ground locations.
Here's some subpar phone pics from after the install. Not great quality and glare is rough at night with lights on but at least you know it happened now!!
Just installed xenondepot HID Xtreme kit on '15 Yukon xl slt. Install was very straightforward. Took a little over an hour for both. Biggest pain was the airbox and placement on pass. side.
Very happy with light output with first short nighttime drive. Cutoff is clean. Hoping reliability is...
You cannot order a bench assembly from GM. I had captains chairs and found a bench on ebay and went that route. Just make sure that if you have a tahoe/yukon you get a bench out the same vehicle. The XL/Suburban seats do not fit the tahoe/yukon and vice versa.
This is the easiest mod ever completed! Took me by myself 30 minutes start to finish. Bit of a pain to get the carpet to fit back under 40 side but that was the only pain. We are keeping the buckets for when the kids are out of car seats but setup now is great for having 4 kids and a couple...
I have the same thing in our 15 yukon xl. More noticeable at speed and when hitting bumps but I also hear it more when making sweeping right turns at speed.
Love that F250. We kicked around the idea of getting a 3/4 ton truck. I have an f150 that would tow the trailer as well but it only seats 5 and with 4 kids that don't work. You can't complain paying 8K for that rig!
Our Yukon XL has max tow pack. Auto level kicked right in and brought the back end up as soon as we hooked up trailer. We also have a WDH that helps distribute load. Our TT dry is 5145 and we had 800 lbs of cargo with us. Along with wife and 4 young kids. Pulled great. Transmission temp...
Just got back from our "Maiden Voyage" in our new passport. Pulled great with the yukon and family. Ended up buying the K-Source ratcheting tow mirrors that seemed to work well as a "bolt on" option.
Anyone find a decent aftermarket tow mirror yet. I would think by now there would be a reasonable option. You would think since GM touts the towing ability of these new rigs that they would offer a direct replacement option.
