I have a 2004 Tahoe that came stock with bose and onstar. My stock speaker in the driver door was very quiet and then I replaced them with Pioneer component 6.5 and the sound is very quiet with some hissing. I have an aftermarket JVC head unit with an Axxess adapter harness. Thanks for any help
I put a 6 inch lift on mine and didn't have to extend brake lines just relocate some. Body lifts aren't hard to do is what I've heard but it is a 2 man job is another thing I've heard about them
Not sure about spindles. Haven't messed with a lot of 2wd but as far as I can tell lift and tire fitment goes about hand in hand. With keys and a 3 inch body lift you should have no problem with 35s unless you go with a very wide rim and a lot of offset.
I've played my music too loud and probably made too many people mad and I've had my front and rear driver side door speaker bust. I have Pioneer competition subs and love them and was thinking of going everything pioneer since I have to replace them anyways. I want Pioneer component speakers...
I believe you have to extend the brake lines and that's all because your master cylinder and brake fluid stay in the factory place in the engine bay. I think the only things that stay on the frame from underneath the hood is the engine and gear box which the body lift should come with the...
Along with being unsturdy without the weight being distributed on the hub centric ring it puts the weight of the vehicle only on your lugs and I've heard of them breaking while going down the road. Also I have a buddy with a white Tahoe as well and he spaced them out and painted the inlays of...
Yeah unfortunately it does kind of sound as though your torsion bars are worn out. But before throwing them out and spending the money I had to cut out my bump stops for my control arms for adjustment of torsion bars to get more lift and to level out both sides. I didn't do this myself and just...
Yeah 02_Tahoe is right before I went to a six inch lift I had 2.5 inch keys and they weren't even turned up so maybe had 2 inches out of it if that and run a 33.8 inch mud tire so basically a 34 and had minor trimming. I was going to do the same thing as you and just add a body lift on top of...
Thanks man. I also forgot to put I am in the process of installing Nfab nerf steps if anybody is wondering why there is a bracket on one side and not the other like I said schedule is crazy and working on it whenever I get a chance.
Haven't logged in for a while. Very busy schedule I'm having to adapt to over the past few months. But just figured I'd show off what has happened with my Tahoe lately. First started with Rough Country 6 inch lift added some 35 Toyo MTs wrapped around my 17x10 Fuel Mavericks. Chrome Handles...
Yeah I completely understand that. I want 22x12s but I'm scared of them getting messed up on 35s so thinking of just adding a body lift and going with 37s on them. Do you think the wheels would be messed up on 35s?
I actually follow you on Instagram and saw that the new wheels are 22s you running 33s or 35s? Just for the simple fact of I want 22s but am scared that on just 35s they will get messed up easily.
Looking at getting a cowl hood but haven't heard exactly what brand was the best for the best price. Looking for just the original 2 inch look not with the ram air intake. Would love some pictures and info. Thanks
I have heard of a lot of people using a 2 inch leveling kit with a 6 inch suspension lift. How much it works I am not sure but I have heard of it being done
I talked to my tire guy the other day because I was thinking of doing the same and he said he has put a set of 315/75r16s on one with 3 inch keys which is a 35 just not as wide but he also said to clear them they had to crank the key all the way up which will ride rough and is bad on your cv...
