Replace entire AirRide System or Convert to Passive?? - 2003 Denali

I changed out all 4 of my shocks this weekend with the Arnott KIT-0007 (Front + Back + Compressor). I am no mechanic, but luckily I did not run into issues on the full swap. I was just a bit puzzled connecting the electricals because I did not find anything from the given documents on the...

Replace entire AirRide System or Convert to Passive?? - 2003 Denali

I'm so glad there is a thread for this. I have been riding mine for a week now with service ride control. My compressor is shut and may have a leak from shocks somewhere. I was looking into craigslist to see if I can salvage parts from a parting-out add. Looks like I have a few options.

    Strange Engine Noise

Hello Friends, A quick update. I took it to a nearby shop. The shop told me that the noise is coming from the crankshaft. I was also told that maybe the wrong fluid was used during my last flush. I was told that the noise may be permanent, but nothing wrong with the crankshaft. I had the...

    Strange Engine Noise

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I have done some heavy towing during our move from CA to TX. I towed a 24' Car Hauler 4X (one way loaded, back empty). But I recall having the differential fluids replaced before each loaded trip. I will check my records. Again, thanks for your...

    Strange Engine Noise

Just a quick update - I have looked under the hood. Had my son help rev the engine for me. Checked the pulleys, belts. They seem ok. We are unable to duplicate the noise when the vehicle is at a stand still. Looks like a bigger problem for me... Help

Hello Friends, Recently with the cold weather in TX, I started hearing a strange noise from the engine. The noise is heard on cruising speed and with a very small amount of pressure on the gas. The noise goes away on high speeds (freeway 65 - 75mph). The noise sounds very similar to a small...

    Grinding Noise - Cold Weather?

Friends, I have an 05 Yukon Denali XL. Recently moved to TX from Cali. Noticed a grinding noise at the front driver's area. The noise can be heard from low speeds up to 55mph. It goes away at high speeds. This was when we had very cold weather in TX. I have been monitoring the noise, and...

    Opinions on Towing with Yukon

I towed a 24' Car Hauler, 6,800lbs with an Anderson Trailer Hitch. Drove from CA, to TX, and back. I installed ST rated tires on my 05 Yukon Denali XL, flushed the transmission fluid, both F/B differential fluids, changed the oil, and never had issues. I had a hard time climbing though. I...
