The units in the tires eventually fail as well and sometimes need to be replaced. I would do as the others mentioned first and try a reset and hope for the best.

I did the H9 conversion on my 2008 Tahoe two days ago. It does appear brighter, will monitor the housing and connector for awhile. I just dislike the fact that the headlight sensor leaves the headlights on too long rather than switching to DRL. I try to shut them off manually most of the time...
My DRL don't seem to activate unless there is considerable light. I see other Tahoe's and Suburban's pass me with theirs on yet my head lights are on. Any way to change the sensitivity.
I have a 2008 and one of the two horns in mine failed as well sounded pretty week had to replace it. It was under quite a bit of pluming. Works fine now. (sounds hearty) I would pull the horns and check them.

Saw this on EBay seems like a great price. I didn't like the fact that the reflectors were removed or I would have considered it.
I have even heard some horror stories about changing the filter. You may want to consider taking the pan down inspect and then just refill. Just my 2 cents.
I have always been happy with the prices and quality from iJDMToy as well. Soulsea's excellent write up on HID lighting is a must read!! Don't stick a HID kit in a stock housing!! Retrofit!!
I just did mine last week I didn't have to remove the entire bumper but all the screws on the top and everything else fiatdale noted in the fender. You can wiggle the light out enough to reach in and twist out the socket holding the old DRL bulb and put in the new LED one. I hade to rotate the...
