NOOO! Don't buy a bullydog or any type of handheld plug and play tuner programmer. You are literally getting little benefits for double the price of a live tune. Please look into blackbear, nelson performance or weatly. I have had a hypertech in the past on previous vehicle and it did nothing...
My stock keys are cranked to level out the back and I notice very little difference in right quality. I do think the ride quality is horrible when you max out the 2.5" reindexed keys.
I agree with the others, level out the rear
285/75/17 is not near as common as 285/70/17. 285/75/16 us is the equivalent for 16" wheels.
Here is mine with 285/70/17...285/75/17 will be about 1" bigger diameter.

Yes you can just tighten them. You will need an alighment. If you are looking for more height there are 100s of threads on here about what keys to use and how to go about everything. I have my stocks cranked with stock shocks and im level with the back. Anything more than stock keys (ie Ford...
Most guys on here use the ford keys. I have seen a good number starting to use the ebay 3" keys/1.5" spacer kits. Most all have been happy. I don't recall seeing any with the chassis tech tho.
The only ones I have seen complaints of is rough country level kit (doesn't lift much over stock...
When I had Z71 springs and 1.50" spacers, I ran 3" lift links off a Jeep Wrangler. They fit perfect, angle was right, and they were $58

I don't see how this would be possible, did you measure on a flat surface? I know mine has a 1" difference in measurements when I park in my parking spot at my apartment vs when I park on the street.
Thanks, I will put that on my list of things to do. I figured that might be some of the issue, but I read a lot online about IAC and TPS. I will try the MAF and TB cleaner and hope that fixes it.
I have looked online but am not finding much for the drive by wire 5.3L on this issue. My truck runs great in every instance, except for when I put it in reverse and its cold. The RPMs drop and it boggs down some for about 2 seconds. Anyone know what this could be caused by?
Also the idle is...
Couldn't disagree with you more^^^
Name brands are the exact same things, you just pay for their name on it. A rear spacer is just a piece of aluminum that is milled down. Buy a name brand kit like superlift or truxx and you will be disappointed when you find out you spent $200-300 and have the...
They do have springs out there but they run $300-400 for just springs. Since the springs are so easy to remove (20-30 minutes) can you remove the springs for inspection and then reinstall when you get back home?

No need to put it back where it was stock. The luxury of having torsion keys is they are adjustable. You can either tighten your bolt and it will lift, or loosen the bolt and it will lower the front. The more you tighten, the stiffer the ride will get, and the more you loosen, the softer it will...
Great! Glad to hear it was the fix. I still haven't ordered mine :/ I know when I do I will want to order spacers and spindles so I am putting it off a bit longer.
I am going to be the bad guy and say chrome looks better...on your truck. The black def looks better, but I think the clashes with the big chrome wheels.
Either way tho, the truck as a whole is very nice. Good work!
This was going to be my next try on mine...but I sold it before I got to that point. Being that GM does have some faulty gauge clusters, and mine had sticking needles and bouncing gas gauge, it seemed very possible to be a problem. I figured someone could have messed up the filament/circuit on...
