    Transmission dipstick trouble

    Guys, iv had a phenomenon with my transmission fluid level.. There are NO leaks.. The dipstick reads in the 'hot normal' area when the truck is cold and hasn't been driven.. When I drive it and check it hot it doesn't read on the stick at all!! Any advice? It is a 01 2wd 327 automatic Tahoe

    So, at 380 thousand miles, the ol fuel pump in the tahoe died.. Pretty good run though I guess right? Haha.. So, having pulled gas tanks in the past made me HATE it..
