The Tahoe is gone. I traded it in for a new F150 Lairit Crewcab 4x4 with the 3.5L Ecoboost. This truck is amazing and very happy with it. The Tahoe served me well and I had no major issues with it. But It's just me and the wife now so the Tahoe was a little big for our needs. This truck will...
Just curious and trying to learn something here.
Whats the reasoning for doing this?? I assume to let more cold air in. Seems like with this hot air from the engine bay would also be getting in and thus defeating the purpose of the Airaid Jr.
Just curious and trying to learn something here.
I just switched from the factory Goodyear LS-2 to Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza in the 275/55/20. So far I love them. It's not an a/t tire but does have a somewhat aggressive tread and is quite in the road. The ride is considerably better than the Goodyears, as they felt mushy even when aired up...
I'm wanting to upgrade the stock speakers with some decent aftermarket speakers. I'm not wanting to break the bank but willing to pay for some good quality speakers. Everything else will remain factory as I do have the Bose system with sub. May consider a small amp to add for the replacement...
I finally got the new tires I've been needing. I went with the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenzas in the stock size. Nothing like putting off a tire purchase until the middle of a big winter storm.
Take a look at the Airaid Jr. It uses the factory air box(which gets cold air already) but comes with a hi perf drop-in filter and an air tube to replace the factory tube between the air box and throttle body. That is where the restrictions are. They are silencers/baffles to keep engine noise...
It's about time for some new shoes on the Tahoe. Currently running the factory 275/55/20 Goodyear SR-2s. Mileage is at 59700 and tires are thin. Need to replace before winter. Would be happy with stock size or could go to a 275/60/20 or 285/55/20. Needs to be all season/mud & snow.
Currently...
I have a set of them. I got the high power "white" ones. If you do it get the high power ones. Its well worth the money. They work well and light up more of the road. I've had mine about 6 months and have had no issues with them.
I use the cruise control when on the hwy and usually have it set at 75. I have the tow package so my gears are 3.42s. I constantly see 19.5 mpg on road trips. My hand calculations are always within .2 miles of what the DIC shows. Around town in mixed hwy/city driving I usually see anywhere from...
I might be willing to help you get rid of your old piece. Mine is damaged and in need of replacing. Is yours the Denali or LTZ style? I'm in need of the LTZ style.
Tony, do you sell the airlift bags too?? If so how much does it add to the package?? Do you know of any reputable installers in the Kansas City area?? This job would be a little out of my comfort range to try and do myself.
I tried a couple of months ago to update mine since its never been done. I got the same response as above. They no longer provide free updates. They did not give a reason when I pressed them. They told me to try the dealer I purchased the vehicle from.
Does anyone know how to change the time on the navigation from the total driving time to estimated time of arrival ?? I read through the manual and played around with the settings but can't seem to find it.
I have not experienced it with these vehicles but I have seen where ice and snow have clogged up grill openings enough to limit airflow the the radiator. Even freezing spray from vehicles in front of you can build up over time and cause issues although rare.
And always clean headlights when...
I've done nothing but walk by mine this past couple of weeks. Its sure makes the driveway look good.
Don't worry it's not broke, I am. I had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and tendons in the right shoulder a couple of weeks ago. Not up to driving just yet. I will be driving Monday...
