    this body style has leaf springs not trailing arms from the factory. im workin on designing a cantilever type setup now, gotta finish layin out the front to set my ride height though. theres a guy on fsc bagged and bd layin pinch welds on 22s in a four door - f'n sick.

    actually, thats what you have to do in a tahoe/yukon. subs are longer and the wheel well is not in the door jamb. and search helps but can become overwhelming at times. think about it, a guy starts a thread about his stereo build, mentions nothing about "laying body 2002 suburban" but clearly...

    the six new lugs come on the new rotor. the reference vehicle is a 96 2500 chevy 7200 GVW(not the 8000 lb) with 6 lugs, i got them from autozone. youll need a 6 lug axle from a 2wd donor vehicle for the rear.

    you cant just clean your frame and weld on new control arm mounts for the 3500? betcha someone somewhere has put 8lugs on a 6lug truck without using adapters...

    took advantage of turkey day and did my front 6 lug conversion. also swapped out my stock spindles for some 2" drops, im gettin control arms soon so its just mocked up for now. i have a 6 lug disc brake axle from an o2 silverado, hopefully gonna get narrowed...

    whos layin body?!

    the OEM frame is 7"+ across the bottom, it narrows to 5.5" in the humps and ends at 4.5" behind the axle so if you trim off the lower 2" and box it, itll still be 5" across the bottom and imo stronger than the oem open frame rails.

    any recomendations on the parallel setup? im goin to the rockers so i need a super notch too, my chunk is right against the floor now with a flip/notch. and dude, it worked, but you can imagine how well...lmao
