Buying a travel trailer, what's my safe towing capacity?

Looks like it is doable, I'll just need to do a bit more research I think. I'll definitely get the weight distributing hitch, and see if there are any other minor upgrades that will help. I'm okay with knowing the trailer is back there, and will mostly be doing shorter trips

Head Unit Replacement Recommendations for 2006 Tahoe LT w/Bose

That's a great start, thank you. At least now I know all the components needed, to make everything function properly. Is the USB adapter just an optional piece, seems like a good idea to add that instead of just having a cig lighter.

    Towing Capacity Info Needed

They certainly don't make it easy to get a peek at the radiator, but yes, it appears that there is a transmission cooler in the front. I got a pic of the RPO codes, how do you tell what each one is for?

    Time for new tires...

I currently have Goodyear Eagle 20's on it, and need to decide what to put on next. I am not looking to go with the highest performance tire, just something nice and solid. The Goodyears were on it when I purchased it, and I'm not opposed to going with the same if it makes sense.

'06 Tahoe rear door lock broken

Apparently it's not at actuator that's bad, it's the solenoid that is mounted to some panel...and the whole piece needs to be replaced.

'06 Tahoe rear door lock broken

My rear door latch no longer locks, I've been told it's a faulty solenoid. Replacement cost about $325, is this a fairly common problem?

My wife and I purchased a 2006 Tahoe LT 2 years ago, and we love it. When we acquired our third English Bulldog, we need to add a larger vehicle to transport everyone. I opted for the 2006 for it's split back seat, I like the option to fold down one side to accommodate the 3rd dog crate, but...
