16' Escalade - Loss of power when shifted to 4wd??
I have a fairly new 16 Escalade ESV. and when it is shifted into 4WD, the suv looses a very noticeable amount of power,, I would say about a 40% reduction of power, and it also makes a low humming/groaning noise and i slight vibration when accelerating.. I have it at the Cadillac Dealership...- Tony

Couple new (to me) mods
For sure, your current wheels will have a more cushioned ride, but the 22"s will give you better cornering, and feel a bit more "car like".. And,, of course look way better..- Tony

Oh, I thought my case was unique, because from the few pages I have read on this thread, everyone was just getting the "service 4WD" light on their dashboard.. I am having an even worse problem with the 4 wheel drive system on my 16" Escalade.. When i switch it to 4WD, the suv loses power, makes a groaning noise, and shakes upon acceleration.. Then when i put it back into 2WD, it runs perfectly.. I guess a defective driveshaft? What a shame, if...- Tony

2017 Tahoe vs Suburban
If it was windy out, you got to remember that these suv's aren't all that aerodynamic, so what you might hear or feel on a very windy day on the freeway, you might not hear or feel on a day when the wind is calm... I currently have a 16' escalade esv, and no buffering.. I also had a 2016 suburban ltz (that i traded in for the escalade and, also no buffering.. i have 2 friends,, (one with a 2015 suburban ltz and the other with a 2015 escalade esv,, both cars have in the 50k miles range now and no buffering...- Tony

My mother has the premier ltx on her Nissan sentra,, and i tried them out in the snow and heavy rain,, they provide MUCH better grip than the Bridgestones did on my old Suburban ltz did.. But one thing i did notice is,, with the mich premier's it made the suspension feel more wobbly when you... -

Husky Liners X-ACT CONTOUR
Don't those husky liners have spikes on the bottom that tear up your carpet??? I use the weathertech 1 piece for the 2nd and 3rd row, they are incredible.. -

I am leaning towards the Michelin Premier LTX's, but I am afraid that they will wear very prematurely, since the tread depth is so low, and they will be going on a heavy truck, so they might wear down super quick.. I like them for the quietness and the grip...I am also afraid they might not... -

It is brand new,, only 400 miles on it.. I don't believe it's pinging because the engine was not under any load when it was doing it,, plus so far I have only filled it with 93 octane from top tier gas stations..I am afraid that I might have a bad motor mount,,- Tony

Anyone ever get a loud rattling noise when the car is lugging? Sounds as if it's coming from the transmission or possibly from the front end,, its a fairly loud chattering noise,, It definitely is not normal, I was just wondering what I was in for, before I take it to Cadillac?- Tony

22" OEM Escalade 7 star Wheels (Triple chrome plated)
All my other 22" wheel buying options are coming with the duelers, that is 1 of the main reason I'm considering buying these stand alone all chrome ones,, because for once I can actually choose the tire I want .,, The only con I could think of in getting the mich's is that the treads don't look... -

No way Jose' I would be putting on some Mich premier LTX's...My mother has them on her Nissan sentra and they grip on light snow far superior to my suvs Bridgestone duelers, and I'm assuming they would have a quieter ride as well? -

Is it a bad idea to put these wheels on my 2016 Cadillac Escalade esv? I know that triple chrome plating adds some weight to the wheel, but would it adversely effect any of the driving cha racteristics at all? -

I have not been able to find much info here on what the real benefits are, or if there are any, in using the Diablosport intune on the 2016 Escalade.. Does anyone have any input? I see there's tons of info on how it helps the 5.3 liter out, but does it really do anything meaningful for the 6.2...- Tony

Bye Bye 16' Suburban LTZ
I finally found a way to solve the shifting problem,,, I traded it in and got a new leftover 16' Escalade esv.. lol.. Do you think I should try te diablo tuner on the escalade? I cant find many threads on here about removing Torque Management on the 6.2..- Tony
