I found that the column shift broke & released the cable which allowed iit to go to park. Will definitely have to change out Steering column, but hoping everything else iis good.
I have a 99 OSB Tahoe that the shift cable broke lose from the column and slammed the tranny into park going about 30-45 mph. What's the chances of no damage to the trans? Wasn't iin 4wd at the time.

Alright was able to get under the Tahoe the other day found all 4 O2 sensors and 2 cats, was told only had one, go figure was supposed to be mechanic.
So, Sunlitcomet you saying it is definitely the left bank cat most likely, just replace it only?
Sorry haven't gotten back on this but been busy at work and different things. Yes it says bank 1, was told it was the left O2 sensor by one mechanic. It only has one cat on it.
Alright, be working on my Tahoe fixin afew things. Had multiple codes but slowly worked thru them & was code free since Sunday & was going to to get it inspected today, then BAM service engine light back on!!! What??? pull codes & now have PO420?? where should I start???
Finished the front end on Monday, wasn't a bad job just never replaced on 4x4. Disassembled everything & it went fine, drives like a new truck after alignment.
What are you talking about de-badging? What year model? Most have no holes to fill or anything all emblems are 2-sided taped other than grille, & some rear hatches. Just my 2-cents worth.
