Currently running the Arnott 3354 @ $400 per shock assembly on 22’s. ride is really good and as good as it will get on this size of wheel i would say. Had the bilstein on my 1st gen 4runner and i agree they ride like crap
the coil should be held on by 2 10mm bolts. a regular wrench would be best way to get to it back there. ratcheting wrench will make it quicker. switch it with a coil from the front cylinder and that will prove if its the coil or not and if it is the culprit much easier to replace once it out of...
running 5w-30 mobil 1 in my 6.2. no issues so far. 0w-20 was in it when it bent a pushrod couple months ago due to a lifter malfunction. ran 5w-30 in my 5.3 for the last 200k and it runs like a sowing machine with great oil pressure
I would check the voltages at the power distribution box and make sure nothing is faulty there. The codes you showed are all communication issues on the CAN network and ive seen one faulty module bring down a couple more just because the way they are tied together. I think a good scanner with...
If you/re getting those same codes i would suspect faulty injector in the cylinder its saying. not uncommon with the direct injection stuff. can be pretty easy swap with the right tools and some time
If you have access to a good scanner you could do a trim level reset on the SCCM to see if relearning the normal ride height will fix your issue. may be an issue with one of the ride height sensors too and it may be commanding the pump on.
Okay i was curious because when i remote start my Yukon there is 0 engine noise. But if i leave my driver door open and press the ignition button to “start” the rest of the truck there is immediately a slight ticking coming from the engine. Almost like piston slap. Goes away after engine is...
Has anyone done the paint matched front bumper trim and valance? So far have only seen one guy do it on Tiktok ill insert the pic. Also, whats everyones opinion on it? thinking about doing the same to my denali soon as my paint guy gets a chance to get to it.
I think the security modules are embedded in the instrument cluster on these. Could that be why it cranks and almost starts but doesnt? injectors may not be opening. With a better scan tool you could see if its loss of communication with IPC. I think the cluster itself is the module and would...
The new 22/23 year model cars are coming with some real bright lights now and its getting hard to compete lol. Im replacing mine soon they are a bit too yellow for my taste, i like them more on the blue side so they match DRL's so i might try the Osram CBI DS3
from brief research the thermostat on the 10 speeds opens up at 194 so that might explain why the lines are cold to the touch. Hope he can figure out the shudder issue for you i would think GM got that bug out of the 10 speeds but i guess not. Maybe a simple fluid flush with Mobil 1 fluid will...
I would think if trans pump died you would see alot more than just a shudder, complete loss of forward motion even. Trans codes would set too. Not sure what trans thermostat is set to on the 10 speeds but could be too low of a temp for it to open and send fluid through the lines and the cooler...
