I really like the red needles. Should the temp and fuel needles be pointed down that low?

Duh the truck isn't running and hes out of gas clearly.... lol

Do’uh I gotta keep my eye on the gas gauge more often.....:emotions122:

Soooo as far as the LED colors and cluster go it turns out all the gauges have blue film behind the numbers, turns are green, bright indicator is blue, other warnings are the factor colors. I also noticed each gauge has a red section at the top like in the danger zone, and the needles light up red with white light. I just shined a high powered LED flashlight through all the open holes where the bulbs twist into the board.

I want to see what it looks like with white LEDs so I ordered some. Think I might get my cake and eat it too, should come out with blue gauge numbers and bright red needles which is what I want.

Swapped to 6k lows from 10K. Also I have always had trouble getting the bulbs to seat properly in the projectors. They are the cheap ones that come in the “sypder” headlights, they have 3 numbs inside the projector for the bulbs to sit on, problem is the numbs aren’t even and the tensioner spring causes the bulbs to sit at an angle.

Problem solved now that I have a Dremel.

The 3 little highlighted spots are where I ground down the numbs.

Bulbs sit perfectly flat and do not wiggle at all.

Might be sending them back, they came in a box together they were both labeled 6k....they look the same color when you look at the projector but on the wall they appear to be 2 different colors. Hopefully the color will set in over the next couple days and they will be more even. Don’t mind the ****** cut off you get what you pay for and TRS now has quick swap Morimoto projectors for Spyder headlights so those are definitely incoming soon.

Hot spots are amazing now with the numbs ground down, dead center of the cut off and buuuuuright!

Can you center them more on the garage door, maybe the side of the door is tricking our eyes(color wise) i doubt it tho, but worth a shot.

I’ll have to check tonight, sun was up when I left the house this morning.

Side note: LEDs for the gauge cluster will be here today so I might put them in and see about plugging it in for a sec and getting photos of the lights and colors.

Bummer about the lights. Do wan't to build a set of headlights.

Same here, I’d love to get a set of Recon tails, the dark red smoke OLED, and build up a set of stock housing with clear glass lens and TRS internals.
