Ok,ANOTHER question I can't find the answer too.I've looked through the lowering sticky and no dice. What air assist bags can I run in rear of my 2005 Tahoe?Belltec 4" springs. If like to run some that won't raise the rear with the minimum recommended pressure ..Last set I had on a 04 truck were slam air bags.Minimum pressure ya could run was 10psi and it would raise the rear..

From what I've read air lift 1000s are the way to go. That's what I've seen a lot of on here. I'm considering adding them to my Denali to help keep from wearing out my air shocks. Call air lift and give them the measurements for your rear coil springs and they can give you a kit number that will get the right size helper bags for your springs.

I didn't know they still made those, we used to run them in our Buicks 30 some years ago, one on the right to keep the axle planted but sometimes ran them on both sides. They did not raise the cars, even when filled, but of course, made the spring stiff. Good quality product, at least they were back then.

Sounds about right assuming since your lowered you rear coil springs would be different. Post pics! I took the wrong measurements on my springs so I remeasured with it empty as he told me and gotta call back and get the right kit. I'd also like to know how easy it is to install these.

I sure will.Ive never ran bags that go inside the coil.I thought they worked by pressure on top and bottom of bags, but guess I was wrong. The bags expands in between coils..I'm interested to see how these perform..

Well ,got the bags installed ..I think I need longer bags. But spring does compress ALOT when full weight is applied.Bag only inglates between two coils. To my surprise it lifted the rear with 25psi,guess we will see how they do when I go to haul my 85 c10 back from paint shop ..6 hour trip!Install was stupid easy ,I did have to put back with hose to the bottom, couldn't reach top to route the hose, plus these springs are progressive so no room..Should be ok.I hope..

Looks good! I'll be doing the same hopefully in the next couple weeks. What are you using to inflate the bags? Do you have an onboard compressor or a seperate compressor? Second question: where did you mount the top of the lines for the air nozzle to inflate the bags?
