My 01 Tahoe blew the rear planetary and replaced sunshell rear planetary and front sunshell and a couple other hard pieces including check balls and seperator plate and tested the solenoids all good but when I put it all back together it would drive better then ever then after 5 mins it loses all forward and reverse gears then after it cools down it's good for two blocks or so and also I rebuilt the pump last thing I'm thinking is torque converter first real post any ideas would be great

Could the front seal at the torque convertor be leaking when the transmission gets warm? Some transmissions are known for this problem and better quality seals are used to repair.

It has to be some kind of a seal or pressure regulator problem related to temperature.

Slight clicking then this broke and just grinding after tore it down and replaced all internals except clutches and steels it never slipped and they looked fine only had 50,000 since last rebuild (previous owner had done and seen the work order of parts) so I got the new torque converter and installed it and properly seated it put it all back together and it has the same shit won't move after warming up in need of a trans guru about to light the hoe on fire

...tore it down and replaced all internals except clutches and steels...

Did I read that right? You tore the whole thing down and DIDN'T replace the two things that are almost always replaced?
