I have a camshaft ready to install, but it's not installed yet. I did install a Whipple supercharger a few weeks ago ,and installed dual valve springs, hardened pushrods, Vitron valve seals, and a rocker trunion upgrade last week, to get ready for the cam. I'm looking for horsepower as well as torque. I also have a set of longtube headers ordered.

Query, I do not know much about measures, closings, and openings of the cams, I would like to know if you can orientate me a bit, since I look for Force, torque of torque. A dealer offered me a camshaft of CompCams and a Kit Of Valves, check it:

Not a synchronizer, I have a supercharger. Also known as a blower or forced induction. As far as which cam to get, it depends on your application and what you want to accomplish. I'm not the expert you need to talk to, but like I said earlier you need to talk to a good cam manufacturer and explain what you have and what your goals are. Talk to Comp Cams themselves or someone else like Vinci High Performance. Then you can shop around for the best price on a kit. That's all the help I can offer you. Good luck.

Ah well, I understand. (Very fantastic your Supercharger), what you mean with Synchronizer? is a part separate? and role?

I never mentioned synchronizer, and I have no idea what you mean by synchronizer.

If it were mine, I would start off with a set of long tube headers and a good custom tune. With those two modifications, you'll gain close to 30 horsepower

Today my Vinci Trucker cam, dual valve springs and hardened pushrods came. My plan is to do the valve springs, pushrods, and rocker trunion upgrade on one weekend and the cam and timing gear on a separate weekend. Those springs look like some good shit, heavy duty as hell.

I never mentioned synchronizer, and I have no idea what you mean by synchronizer.

Sorry, I was wrong to interpret what you had started in your Denali thread, It was distribution gear. I add it up.

Consult, how could you know the exact measurement of the push rods without removing them from the cylinder head ?, I ask to see if you can help me and look for mine for some catalog, if there is no way I will have to disassemble.

I ordered a kit from Vinci High Performance that included cam, pushrods, dual valve springs and Vitron valve seals. They determined the pushrod length for me.

Few different places sell long tube headers, from budget friendly to top of the line. If your on a tight budget, speed engineering long tubes, found here: https://www.speed-engineering.com/s...ck-suv-longtube-headers-y-pipe-1999-2006.html, are a good choice. Some have had slight fitment issues with the install, such as @Tonyrodz here, while others had no issues whatsoever. Another budget friendly choice would be Texas speed, found here: https://www.texas-speed.com/c-3288-headers-xy-pipes_chevrolet-silverado1500-2005.aspx. They also have American Racing headers, which are what @Red Rocket has purchased. They are "top of the line" when it comes to headers for our vehicles.

Enough about exhaust... The second part of my recommendation was a good custom tune from someone using either HPtuners software, or EFI live software. Most of us around here use @BlackBearPerf for our custom tuning needs. They offer inperson tunes at tuning events, or mail order tuned. By looking at your location, I'd say you'd be going with a mail order tune. Check out their website: http://www.blackbearperformance.com/services.asp, and send them an email with any questions, you could also talk to them on here as they are a preferred vendor.

Wow, thank you very much for all that information, I was looking at the speed-engineering page and the value is almost 400 dollars, is it a good quality option?

Second, excuse my ignorance, the performance blackbear is the same as Hypertech, or do other modifications?

A longer duration higher lift cam will give you more power but usually at the expense of low rpm power one way to get some of it back is to go to a lower lsa. Which means the power will come on sooner. So if you have a 116 lsa now you could go to a 112 for example. But your idle quality will change it will be more rumpeta rumpeta. Comp cams makes a 212/218 will give more power and have decent idle quality. Since you have already done gears your biggest improvement will come from a stall comvertor in the 2800 rpm range.
