Interesting, all of the Denalis in the family I live with, all are 2003-2006, and none of them have 4 courtesy lights. Lol. Only 2. Weird. I wonder why they changed them.

Yeah I remember now my buddy has a 03 Sierra Denali and only front doors light up. My cousins fully loaded 06 Z71 only has the front door lights. So weird, wonder if there's existing plugs behind the doors in the harness...

I don't think there are any plugs behind the reflector. But I'm gonna check tomorrow. Wouldn't that be nice if something for once is going to be easy! Haha.

Glad to hear the transmission is back in business and covered under warranty.

My 06 rear doors are just reflectors. I do not recall seeing any plugs?

Wish they did light up though. And those damn reflectors both front and rear are just fragile as it is. I broke two and found replacements at the junkyard.

My 05 has lights in the front doors, and just reflectors in the back, i seen a thread on here about this before, you have to tap into the front ones and run the wires along the side and to the rear doors, i was going to maybe do it eventually. I remember reading something like it was too much load for the circuit with the standard bulbs so they took them out but if you use LEDs it will work fine. Think i seen that on a duramax forum.

Damn bro, all 4 of mine have lights. Crazy I think in 05 they just went away with the lighted rears.
I have a few extras but I plan on making custom crystal clear courtesy lights.
Ill let you know if I can spare you that drivers rear.
Have to dig them out first, probably not till next month spring time.

My 03 also had 4 courtesy lights

Well I'll be changing that soon haha. Got my new seat foam done on my drivers seat this evening. That was an interesting project after finding out my seat doesnt go all the way forward and all the way back like it should. Another issue to tackle later..... but for now I'm happy with a comfy new seat haha. Pic of what i assume is the foam from the factory compared to the new one.

Also came home to another box on the deck. Love coming home to packages. My new roof rack is here. The plan was top open it up and check it out when I finished my seat, but ended up having dinner with the family that I live upstairs from. So cracking it open now.
