I've got a few of questions that I'm hoping somebody may know the answer(s) to:
1. I was able to copy a few movies onto a USB drive and play them on the screen while the truck is in park. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hear any audio... just video. Does anyone know what format a movie file needs to be in to get both? The movies I tried to play were in .avi format.
2. When playing digital music from the same USB drive I'm getting a noticeable gap between songs. I noticed the same playback behavior when using my old iPod Classic as well. Is there a way to prevent the gap/pause between songs? This never happened with the stereo in my old truck (Kenwood DDX7019).
3. My truck came equipped with the dual DVD headrest monitors instead of the single overhead unit which was I thought was cool because my old Lincoln Navigator had the same setup (custom Kenwood setup though). Is there a way to play the audio from the movie through the car speakers or is the dual DVD a stand alone option that is not truly integrated with the rest of the truck?
I've gone through all of the manuals that came with my truck and to be honest I find most of them to be kinda useless other than providing a basic summary of the features of the truck.
Thanks in advance for any help!
