Ok, well after the feedback I received from everyone here I simply threw the steering wheel in the shed & never installed it. I'm going to search for a GMC truck airbag from 03-07 & hopefully it works. I will keep everyone posted. I'm crossing my fingers! ---------- Post added at 02:36 PM... -

I just got the wheel in the mail today. I will let everyone know how it goes. I'm planning on trying the swap tomorrow morning. I hope this isn't the case. It would suck horribly. Hell, I'd find a way to adapt it, lol. :angry94: -

The question is pretty simple. Can I swap steering wheels from an 03-06 Yukon/Escalade/Tahoe with wood trim into my 2002 Yukon SLT? I can get my hands on one relatively fast but I want to make sure I don't throw away my money. I really don't like my plain, black, outdated steering wheel... -

Yeah man. Today I sat back just looking at those wheels & I just can't get over how cheap I got them! I used plastidip for the bumpers. After the plastidip I threw some "Satin black" on top. LED Tail lamps (Not happy)
Thanks for the link. I saw those before I purchased mine. I didn't like them because they only have 3 rows of lights instead of 4. Regardless I may go with these. I feel you guys. It's just not enough lighting IMO. When I saw they had 4 vertical rows, I thought the two inner rows would stay... -

One MAJOR hurdle has been crossed. Last week I purchased a near mint set of 2012 Tahoe LTZ wheels with BRAND NEW Michelin LTX tires on them for $700. The guy was crazy! Leather color codes
I've actually got the answer. That combination is Pewter/Shale…Shale being the lighter color of the seats as you mentioned. On some aftermarket leather die color charts, the color code for shale is #6985. -

Miles per gallon (wtf?!?!?)
I'm looking into this. The truck has barely been used since I last posted. Sunday night I filled her up & handed the keys to the wife. She drive's like an ol' lady compared to me. I will keep you guys posted by end of this week to see how much she consumed!- Ultim8SVT

My new to me yukon
Sounds like you & I got very similar deals. Just got mine 5 weeks ago for $3,700 with 99,870 miles! I had a ton of aesthetical work to do to her as the exterior was in rough shape compared to yours but motor/tranny & interior were solid! How many miles on yours?- Ultim8SVT
