Towing with a 6 inch lift and 35 in tires?

Has anybody done a lot of towing with at least 35 inch tires? I am wondering if it is a good idea to tow with a lift, i am concerned about going up big hills or mountains and having transmission trouble or something. I also have my tahoe re-geared to 4:56. Any feedback would be great thanks.

    scan cable or autocal?

I wish I could get long tube headers but I live in California and would not be able to pass smog. Thanks for the info.

    scan cable or autocal?

Looking at getting a tune after I install some shorty headers. I want the best tune and I'm not sure what the difference is between the scan cable tune and AutoCal tune. Is it the same software and same tune with the only difference being that I can keep the Hardware?

I had to add a 1.5 in spacer under the rear coils and new torsion keys to get the front up the extra 1.5 inch.

Bulletproof 6-8 in lift set at 7.5. 35x12.5x18 in tires. I would like to put wider tires on like 14 in or so but its hard to find a 35 in tire with 18 in rims

    Newly lifted tahoe

Thanks man I was looking at body lifts and could only find 3 inch. What BL are you looking at?

    Newly lifted tahoe

My ride quality is better now than before the lift. Handling is also better, mind you all the suspension was 10 years old before lift. But yours will be different because it's a different lift. My truck sits at 45 inches measured at the fenders all around. Post a pic of your ride man.

I agree I thought with the bulletproof lift it would be enough but it really is only a 6 in lift even though they advertise 6-8 inches. The extra 2 inches comes from the lift keys but the back will still be low without an extra spacer.
