SUV tent... who has one... Opinions
I'm currently looking for a rooftop tent for my Yukon. The Tepui style fold out tents are like huge bricks on top and kill gas mileage. That got me looking into pop up style fiberglass or aluminum tents with lower and more aerodynamic features. I've got it narrowed down to these two here: #1... -

What type of tint did you get and how much?
5% all around back, 20% on front doors and 40% on the entire windshield. Local Colorado shop did it for $300 OTD. -

Good info. The truck does have 225k, but I bought it from the original owner and it came with a folder with about 20k in receipts. The trans was replaced with a remanufactured one about 1.5 yrs ago. 4l60E RPM Question
Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like its normal. By phantom gear change, I just mean that I'm anticipating another gear change because of the RPM and engine sound in 4th gear at 70mph. Seems a bit odd that it doesn't shift to below 2k at 70mph. I'm still getting to know the truck and it's...- Rock Surf

I have a new to me 2003 Yukon SLT 4x4. It's has 225k, but has had a remanu tranny put in about 1 1/2 yrs ago. 1st through 4th shift smoothly. My question is, Is it normal for it to be just above 2k in 4th @ 65mph? It seems like the ratio between 3rd and 4th should be larger. I keep...- Rock Surf

popping in steering
While searching on the Youtube about this I came across this vid here and decided to try it. All it is is removing the bolt on the IMS and jacking it off a bit and it worked. Not sure how long it will last, but hopefully long enough until I have the time to put in a new IMS: BTW 2003 Yukon...- Rock Surf
