Sumo's diagram was correct, but for the 2nd gen trucks, but using his info made it easy to get the 3rd gen part. Thanks again Sumo!

    Rear brake question, please help!

Ok, this may be an unusual question....I have a 2008 Yukon SLT. I need to know what the name and part number is for the part that the right rear brake caliper bracket attaches to with the two bolts. I have heard it called the rear knuckle, but I can not find any information on a part by that...

Yes sir, that would be my thread. I figure what do I have to lose, at worst they end up doing nothing for me and I am sad. At best they stand behind a known defect and I'm happy.....we'll see.

Yup, I think I will do the same. I may have a 2008, but it only has 32,000 miles on it, so maybe I will get some help? We'll see......

That would be fine, but as of yet I cannot PM, and do not yet have any dealer involved. I will see about going to the dealership down the highway from the dealership where I work.

Yeah, I know. One thing always leads to the next, and forums make it worse, as you always find more ideas of what to do next..... Oh, and thanks Frank. ---------- Post added at 01:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:10 PM ---------- Nope, I have not taken it in to a GMC dealer...
