Advice: Options to avoid?
Arnott offers some good options for replacing these e-shocks. Currently they offer thru year 2014 I believe. By the time the 2017s start getting old enough to have issues, they’ll have parts for those too. It’s not a huge issue.- need-for-speed

When I spoke to the guy at Arnott last year, he told me that If the boots tore open on the rear air shocks (which is somewhat common) that would allow moisture into,the air system and that is why the compressor will also fail. Autoride bypass
I think I’ll go with two Arnott AS2700 for the rear. They are a bit pricey but much cheaper than OEM. Will retain the air shock function but not the electronic function.- need-for-speed

Arnott replacement shocks for the rear
Hello. I am replacing the rear shocks on the wife's 2008 Tahoe. It has the Z55 Autoride suspension. I spoke to the guy at Arnott. He kinda steered me towards the passive replacement shocks (pn AS 2715) because it would save me "a lot of money". However the price difference between the new...- need-for-speed
