Suburban off road?
Has anyone taken their suburban off road or through any trails? Replacing my REBEL with something paid off and able to be worked on and wanting the same luxuries and off road capability... Buying questions...
Good afternoon, I am in the market for a new off-road project since my rebel had a collision. I’m going to be doing a full off road build (engine mods and suspension mods) I am in between a fully loaded suburban for 6k and a base model with cloth seats and 4wd for 7k. what are the faults...- mechanicus

Another Lift kit question.
For a 2007 LTZ tahoe, I am deciding between doing a BDS 4" kit and just doing 2" fox coil overs. The question here is, does anyone have pictures of either kit? In your opinion which one is better? And finally If i do the coil overs is there any supporting mods to be done or can i just bolt up...- mechanicus

Looking to buy 2008 tahoe
Thanks for the input, I will be test driving it this Saturday and try for 17,500 (kbb price) and hopefully it's not full of problems. I looked at another lifted and the stabitrac/a bunch of other things started coming up. The dealership said it was the lift that caused it. Is there a way to test...- mechanicus

tips on this tahoe?
thanks for your input. I went down to the dealership today to look at it and drove it. The problems I noticed were: The break rotors looked like they needed replacement The breaks took a lot of time and distance to stop the vehicle at 40 mph. The left rear axle looked to be leaking at the end...- mechanicus
