    Thanks. I just got mine in over the holiday weekend and haven't even secured it. It doesn't slide much but certainly not safe of I had to do some evasive maneuvers or was in an accident. The vent is a great idea I don't want to screw into the car really.

    I need to figure out how to fix the gap between climate control and dash kit. Don't think I can. There is a lip on the climate control that fit over factory I could probably grind out the groove on dash kit. But I really like this HU.

    Oops doubled the one but that's how it looks. I gotta assume that I could get a alternator for a 6L tahoe and get the bracket and belts. Plenty of room for sure. I'm definately not tackling that project until spring though. No garage here.

    Yeah I discovered no alternator. I'm thinking I could get a stock alternator and second battery and those systems could be totally separate. But that's for the future.
