It did not make this noise before the new parts were installed. Popping noise sounds like a light metallic 'clink'. I think I can feel it in the steering wheel when it happens. AC Light Blinking 3x, then nothing
I thought maybe a blend door was the culprit, but I couldn't duplicate the issue later Wife tells me the blinking snowflake has stopped now. I'm thinking she started the truck, turned the heat all the way up, selected defrost, and set the fan to max. The truck struggles to warm up like that...- MarshMarlowe

Thank you. I can't help but wonder if the coolant temp was just too low for heat / defrost Interesting that the compressor won't kick on if it's too cold. How does the system accomplish blowing dry air on the windshield if it's too cold?- MarshMarlowe

Broken Motor Mounts
Just got my wife's 2012 Tahoe back from the dealer for a trans flush and filter change @ 97k miles. Tech noted that the engine mount is suspect bad. Spark Plug Change - Boots too?
Just wanted to post an update. I swapped the plugs this morning. Removing the passenger wheel and wheel well liner made accessing plug #8 much easier. All in all, not a bad job at all. Thanks for all the helpful tips! Great forum- MarshMarlowe

The manual for my wife's 2012 LS 2WD 5.3 6speed Tahoe lists 97,500 miles as the first interval for the transmission service. Surprisingly, the dealer is the cheapest in town. Hey again everyone. I just got the Tahoe back from the shop They did an alignment and an AC diagnosis. They found the AC held pressure, but it had just under a pound of freon, so they recharged it.
