2002 Yukon with the 4.8.
Changed my oil today to Castrol GTX High Mileage in the recommended weight of 5w30.
Now the engine sounds like a diesel. (not quite as loud but u get the idea)
Whats wrong???
and yes, i put enough oil back in it. sounds like valve or lifter chatter.
Strange problem really...
Driving the truck, at any speed when the wheel is turned the slightest bit either direction there is a rattle coming from the driver front suspension.
Does not do it driving straight...
I can clearly hear it, and slightly feel it in the floor AND steering wheel ever...
I just replaced the sub with a 8" RE Audio DVC 4ohm. Had to take the rubber trim ring off the sub and trim about 1/4 of an inch all the way around the sub. Siliconed the opening really good and mounted the sub. Took about an hour. Sounds WAAAAY better than the factory sub. No depth issues but...
I have more to post on this install. I will do the same when I replace the rear door speakers, pillar speakers, and factory subwoofer.

Will be a few days before I finish it up as I lost a close friend last...
He interior of my Yukon is nearly perfect for the exception of these two spots. The arm rest isn't a big deal as I rarely use it anyways. But the seat needs some attention SOON.
Need advice to direction to go with on this.
