okay I will keep trying. I know they are not the original plugs because they were Bosch. next stop is my mechanic if I can't get it. I'm worried they won't be able to get it though. and then idk what I will do.
I would think a bigger plug socket wouldn't work. all the others were 5/8ths. I looked at it and nothing apers stuck on it. it is very frustrating. can I perform a compression test on the other cylinders with that plug still in? I have a slow coolant leak somewhere and have done everything thing...
yeah burning them out is actually what they say to do in the installation instructions. I appreciate all the help. the reason I'm changing them is all the bushings are old on this hoe. i don't think the previous owner greased anything really. I'm also refurbing the whole SUV because it's very...
I am not sure if it's called the pan hard bar or track bar. in a digram I saw it said track bar but it could be called the pan hard bar. can I do this with out a press is my next question. I live in an apartment and have very limited space.
yes I tried and removed the inner fender cover to get it. I tried that extension, a buddy had it. I can get to the plug fine but no matter what I do the socket won't bite the hex at all. I am not kidding and I feel so stupid for this but I have spent a total of 8 hrs trying everything to get the...
not to thread jack but I did this 2 weeks ago and now I'm concerned because I put anti-seize on them like I had read and torqued them to 11 ft lbs. i seriously hope I'm not screwed.
on a side note I have an issue I can't remedy. I can't get the passenger side rear spark plug out, I think it's...
hey either way I appreciate it. does anyone know if the track bar needs to be set or anything like that? I just want to make sure I can unbolt everything one at a time and reinstall it no problem.
lol that's what I figured but I just thought maybe someone has done them here and might have advice or tips. I googled it but no real info is out there or I'm not looking correctly
I would take a look at Rock Auto for there front end kit that has all Moog. it's upper and lower control arms with ball joints and bushings. as well as inner and outer tie rods.
has anyone replaced the bushings on their rear upper and lower control arms as well as the track bar?
I got the energy suspension kit 3.3194g for the rear and want to tackle this job.
any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
