    Blower Motor Issue

I've got a 2005 Z71 Tahoe with the dual auto temp control that's giving me a little trouble. It's my wife's daily driver, and today she reported that she wasn't getting any air out of the vents until she started moving. I did a little diagnostic this afternoon and here is what I came up with...

AWD 04 Denali Rear and Front-end on 05 z71 Tahoe?

Folks, Been wanting to upgrade from my sluggish 3.42 gearing for awhile. Really wanted to find a 4.10 front and rear end but I’ve got some 3.73s that just fell into my lap. Will these be a straight swap on my 05 z71 4wd tahoe? I’m thinking they will but want to confirm before I dig myself a...

    Link Error with OBD Tool

I'll try that this afternoon after work. I also have some contact cleaner that I'll spray up in there.

    Link Error with OBD Tool

I can't find a complete compatibility guide, but one review on amazon talks about using it on a 2005 suburban so I assume it should work on my 2005 Tahoe. It's an Oxgord MS300. It says it should be compatible with most vehicles made after 96.

    Link Error with OBD Tool

Hey folks, I finally got tired of seeing my check engine light on so I sprung for a cheap scan tool off amazon. My scanner is getting power from my obd port but it's coming up with link error every time. I hooked it up to my Tacoma and it worked fine. I have a black bear tune and aftermarket...

Wiring that runs down driver side

Thanks guys. Ended up running a wire all the way up to the fuse panels and into one of the ign slots. Camera works great! Thanks.

    Re-gear and g80 swap price

I'm not satisfied with the low end with the 3.42s and my tires. I tow a heavy load with it fairly often so more low end would definitely be nice. I don't foresee using my tahoe on the interstate very often anymore, so I'm not really worried about the higher rpms at highway speeds. I'm looking...

    Re-gear and g80 swap price

Folks, been strongly considering regearing from the 3.42 to the 4.10s. I figured I would swap the g80 while I'm doing it. My questions are, how hard is this to do? Should I consider doing it myself? As far as pricing, seems like I should be able to get parts for around $750? What should labor...

Wiring that runs down driver side

Yeah, I guess it's as good of an excuse as any to get some needle probes for my multimeter. I just thought that somewhere out there there has to be a diagram that could get me by.

Wiring that runs down driver side

*constant keyed power. I'm hooking up a backup camera. I have the headunit hooked to the reverse light wire coming out of the bcm to trigger the camera when I put it in reverse. I want have constant power to the camera whenever the truck is on so I can toggle to the camera even when the truck...

Wiring that runs down driver side

That's what I thought. I'm looking for constant power.

Wiring that runs down driver side

I will hook the headunit to the grey wire on the bcm to have it swap over to the camera automatically when I put it in reverse.

Wiring that runs down driver side

Does the reverse wire have constant keyed power? I'd like to be able to turn on the camera when I'm not in reverse.

Wiring that runs down driver side

That's a terrible title. What it should be is, "where to get 12v keyed power in cargo area"

Wiring that runs down driver side

Hey folks, been searching for awhile and can't find the answer to this. Does anyone know which wires in the large, taped bundle that run all the way down the driver's side then up and over to the passenger side are keyed power and ground? I'm trying to install a backup camera and those are my...
