2014 Yukon XL airbag recall notice

Thanks. If they had to pull the dash, I'm not sure I would go ahead with it. Still not sure if I will or not, but that makes me feel better about the job.

2014 Yukon XL airbag recall notice

Just got it in the mail. Passenger side airbag recall notice. Vehicle is a 2014 Yukon XL with roughly 78,000 miles on it. Very good condition. I have a couple of questions. Do they have to pull the dash to do this repair? Just how intrusive is this job? I don't want to...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Ordered an AFM disabler from New Range Technology. Snowing like a big dog here now. By the time the disabler arrives I might be able to drive the vehicle again. You just plug these things in and go, right?

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Looked at it forlornly wishing that I could get it out of my driveway. Then it dawned on me that I wouldn't have anywhere to go if I did.

    Possible electrical issue

Thanks, guys. This is the first vehicle I've owned that did it. I was thinking I had a bum alternator. Makes sense that I only see it on the longer trips.

    Possible electrical issue

2014 Yukon XL SLT. Whenever the vehicle is driven for more than about an hour I notice that the volt meter drops a good bit below 14 volts. None of my other GM vehicles do this (Corvette, Sierra dually). I don't notice it happening on short trips, like a grocery store run. Only on...

    Break in oil changes.

Old school hot rodder here. I still change at 500 miles to get rid of the cam lube and any initial shavings that may have presented themselves during break in. I also drive fairly lightly for the first 2,000 miles or so until the rings have fully seated. I don't drive 5,000 miles a...

List you rides from over the years, Got pic's ?

Haven't really owned that many due to the fact that I usually drive them until they are dead. Wasn't a picture taker until lately, but somewhere I have some Polaroids of my old Road Runner. 1969 Ford LTD with a 390. College car. 1973 Ford Torino with a 302. College car. Both of these...

New to forum - 2014 Yukon XL

RWD with a single-trak. I've never driven it in snow because I know it will not do well. I have a 4 wheel drive crew cab dually (LBZ Duramax/Allison) for the bad weather. Never changed any fluids except engine oil. Since retiring it is seeing less than 5,000 miles a...

Someone asked for photos. Here it is. Nothing special. Just a basic SLT. Bone stock, but well maintained.

Thank you. It only had 5,500 on it when I bought it. We've put the last 70,000 on it. No towing. We took the third row seats out and my wife used it to haul stuff to farmer's markets. When she gets a new one, it will come to me and I will use it to go to the golf course and...

New to forum - 2014 Yukon XL

Hello. Back in 2015 I purchased a lightly used 2014 Yukon XL. It currently has 78,000 miles on it and has been a pretty good vehicle. Nothing fancy - just an SLT package. I had some electrical gremlins a few years ago, but replacing the negative battery cable cured them. I...
