As a follow up...it was the driver's side front diff mount. Should have posted this earlier, but I got caught up dealing with some electrical problems (see my other post, lol) .The rubber bushings were so worn, I could turn them by hand. Hey folks. A quick update. After about 2 months of trouble free driving, the symptoms returned about 3 weeks ago. This time far worse. Quick update. Crawled under and checked the torque on all of the diff mounts bolts last night. Everything is still tight. The rubber bushings still look intact on the insulated mounts. I'll have to get it on jacks with a pry bar this weekend and have a better look. Lol, you busted me on the...- Apach 031

Hey, you're right! It's actually back and forth, because the camera is lying on the ground looking up. But ya, the whole diff seems to be sliding back and forth, especially in the right side. I was so busy looking at the excess rotation, I missed the diff movement. And those mounts don't have...- Apach 031

2011 Tahoe 4x4 oil pan replacement question
+1 on the helicoil. Unless you have access to a hoist, dropping the pan on a 4wd/AWD is a pain. I did it last year, as I recall it was 2 very long afternoons underneath. Sorry for the late reply, Bobby. I'm on vacation right now, so I can't take any photos. But if you are under the rig, it's on the passenger side of the trans. It comes from the driver's side at the front, comes up over top of the transmission, and loops around and facing forwards before entering...- Apach 031
