    Chip, can you confirm that you had a CAT code and not an 02 code, but you replaced the 02 and it erased the CAT code? I have the same code saying a Cat is bad and I'm about to buy a new cat. A new 02 sensor is much cheaper than even a universal cat!

    How hard is it to replace the cats?

    Following up here... It's going to be the same price ordering two universal cats and having them installed as me buying the whole magnaflow assembly and installing it myself. Am I at any disadvantage to getting universal cats? Any suggestions?

    Is there any way to test the 02 sensor and see if it's bad rather than test the cat and if it's good assume the cat is bad?

    radio shack part#276-1771 7812 +12VDC Voltage Regulator 1 amp I had no clue what I was looking for when I went in there but an employee seemed to know what was up.

    I picked up two regulators from radio shack today for $4. I first hooked up a multimeter and the drls had spikes up to 15.5v. Hooked up the regulators and it's stuck at 12.2v. Hopefully 15 minutes of work and $4 keeps my LEDS fresh!

    From what I've read, you're very lucky! 3157 LEDs are what I have in right now. I do have a spare set because I figured I'd burn through these, I'm just hoping there's an answer out there and I can use them after everything is good to go.
