    6.2 liter longevity

I remember Upon collection of both my Yukon & Escalade the very first thing I did change engine oil Mobil 1 0-40 and new filter even though the oil was Not dirty and due yet but its for my peace of mind. After reflection now I wish had bought pre AFM models but my both trucks are low miles and...

    6.2 liter longevity

I am v worried regarding bad news of AFM 6.2 engines being Not reliable! My both 2011 Yukon Denali & 2013 Escalade EXT are AFM 6.2s!! Is this simply lousy bad engineering by GM ? Sadly I recently learned ( After my Yukon & Escalade purchase ) about the horror stories of the AFM system can...

    AWD VS 4WD

I am owner of both 2011 Yukon Denali AWD & 2013 Escalade EXT also AWD. Maybe this issue has been discussed before but my real concern is how is my AWD works and how its comparable with a non Denali Yukon / Chevy Tahoe 4WD system ? Thank you Alan

Crash safety : 2007 to 2014 Yukon Vs 2015+ Yukon

Crash safety : 2007 to 2014 Yukon Vs 2015+ Yukon

So technically my 2013 Escalade EXT being a crewcab will be less safe than my 2011 Yukon Denali ? I just also seen the 2012 Suburban side crash test ( moving deformable barrier ) it's v scary the suburban rolled over from the impact! This is YouTube video link

Crash safety : 2007 to 2014 Yukon Vs 2015+ Yukon

Of course Safer than a compact sedan or small crossover but Less Safe compared to the 2015+ GM Full size and other full size brands like Ford Expedition!

Crash safety : 2007 to 2014 Yukon Vs 2015+ Yukon

I do own both 2013 Escalade EXT & 2011 Yukon Denali. Lately I been viewing some crash test videos of this generation of GM SUVs compared to newer 2015+ models I was shocked that the 2015s are alot safer. I appreciate all views Alan

    2014 Yukon or Escalade

As noted before another post I do own both 2011 Yukon Denali AWD and 2013 Escalade EXT. They are identical in engine , AWD system , Trans , Frame design etc... The EXT interior slightly upscale and has HID headlights thats It. To my surprise the Yukon has important advantage being quicker...

Driving Impressions: 2013 Escalade EXT vs 2011 Yukon Denali AWD

I am proud owner of 2013 Escalade EXT and 2011 Yukon Denali. I understand both trucks are v identical in engine and AWD system. I have found that the Escalade drives slightly softer and its slower both off line and most notably when climbing mountain roads also. Of course the EXT is both longer...
