    So I am having a problem with my dash.parking lights on no dash, tap on dash and lights come back,turn on turn signal and dash flashes. i would greatly appreciate any info.

    Need a Transfer case

    After having a discussion over a few days with YukonandtheHoe we came to the conclusion my clutch pack is gone in my Tcase. So i just wanted to see if anyone in the New Jersey area had a transfer case they are looking to get rid of.

    Off-road upgrades

    I don't like brush guards. Skid plates for sure if you don't already have them. Maybe some rock rails depending on your type of offroad. Rear tow point. I moved my spare tire to the roof for more clearance.

    removed the front driveshaft. put truck in 4x4and turned the pinion on the front diff and both wheels turned.

    so i should remove front shaft put it in 4x4 and turn the pinion and driver side wheel should turn?

    i will try that again as soon as i can. but like i said in previous post i replaced the front actuator.

    yes they spin opposite. i tried to get both wheels to turn the same way when in 4hi but couldnt. i tried this when i had it in the air and it was in park. i thought that even in 2hi the driveshaft would rotate with the front wheels?

    So i had the opportunity to lift the front end of the hoe today here is what i found 2hi-each wheel spins freely drive shaft does not turn, i can turn it freely by hand 4hi-wheels turn together and drive shaft is locked into the tcase and not the front end seems like something in the front dif...

    Sorry hangontight not trying to jack your thread. was planning on doing that this weekend also. will also look for any metal. what fluid is best to put back in and how much?

    wont be able to check that till friday. i am leaning away from my case. it makes no weird noises and no leaks. should the front shaft be locked in also at this time?

    i replaced my front actuator thinking maybe it was weak, but didn't change anything still no 4wd,no codes,lights indicate its in 4wd.
