Did you look at the 9005 and H11 Phillips LED from Xenon Depot? Do you think that shoelace looking heat sink might make the installation impossible? Might have to cut a hole in the dust cover and pull it thru. Seems like that design would be more reliable than the built in fan. Plus 4000 Lumens.

EDIT Just checked and the Xenon Depot lights are 2000 lumens each for 4000 total. Bought some 80 W 8000 lumen units (2x 4000) from the same vendor as AngelXL. Will see how they work.

I'm very happy with what I got. From OEM to what I have now is more than enough. The other night I have my truck running for about 40 minutes with the light on. I checked after
And the heat was just as a regular OEM bulb
And the good things about the fans. You know when is on and working properly.

Hey @AngelXL I'm from Long Island as well! Can you let me know what your local guy has in stock and location? I'd like to pick up a set tomorrow.

Thanks!

when you say you checked the heat of light after 40min, are you talking about the light housing or the fins themselves? There's been some crazy info posted by others with different vehicles using these type of LEDs for headlight replacements showing major heat issues. Yes, the led portion is much cooler than halogen but that is not always the case with the fins/cooling properties of an LED.

I would like to go with this setup vs HID but want to make sure I don't melt the housing. Thanks for the info.
