The best thing you can do is not think about it.

I average around 15 mpg combined on my 13 Denali. The direct injection 6.2 in the 15 should be a bit better.

Yup, I usually fill'er up with 24 gallons. What I get out of the tank depends on the conditions I stated above.

2007 Denali, Getting 16-17mpg in normal running around mixed driving, I believe I usually average 30-34mph in normal use.

Highway - flats/rolling hills I get around 18

Elevation 5000-12000ft in all of my testing so I think I use a little less than some sea level folks. I also am pretty aware of how to drive for the best mileage, where I'm sure some people punch it every time they get a chance :).

Are you guys going by the AVG MPG gauge at all? What does your gauge say? Are the AVG MPG gauges accurate? I'm mostly looking for 09-14 Denali owners' responses with the 6 speed because I'm considering buying a 13-14 Denali, but scared of the MPG with the AWD.

What are your AVG MPG gauge says these days?

Thanks.

My fathers '11 tahoe 4X4 LTZ says 13.8 mpg....just curious for a comparsion to a same gen Denali...

It should be in line with what others posted. AWD will usually only cost you 1 MPG. I would say my average MPG was around 15 on 2012 Denali AWD.

I just got back from a 800 Mille trip in my 13 denali with 8000 miles. On the trip south I got 18.9. Trip north I got 20.8. Both were with cruise set right at 75 for almost the entire time and on 93 octane. I blame head and tail winds.
