i get a strong fuel odor when i start my truck, warm or cold. it only last a few seconds and only on start up. i have new spider assembly, pressure reg, and just put in 4 new o2 sensors. any ideas??

if the smell is out of the tail pipe I would think something went wrong with the spider install and perhaps a injector line got kinked to hard and opened up.

hmmm, i triple checked evrything i did during the install. the lines are pretty stiff to begin with so i was very carful not kink them while installing them. but then again, the install did feel like it went to smooth for something not to go wrong. :)i guess i need to throw a pressure guage on it and see if it leaking. any other ideas?? i want to exhuast all other possiblities before i open the intake again

actually the fuel pressure test would be ideal.

yeah, when you burn all your gas in an external fire instead of internal combustion that counts as sucky mileage :rocking:
