Hi Guys,

Am planning on changing the interior lights on my Denali '09 to white LEDs, similar to the ones that come in Lexus LS & GS series. Anyone have done this before, or know where and how can I get these?

Thanks!

Don't buy the cheap ones off eBay, they're actually purple-ish white and are CRAP.

Thanks for the links.. Do you guys have pics of your installations?

Can you guys tell me how can I find out the bulb types/sizes? or probably what are you guys using on yours?

You will need 212-2 bulbs, 42mm.

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/default.htm

Just enter your vehicle type and it will show you the cross references for your bulbs.

Thanks for that Sylvania Site man, great site!

So what about the white? which power/shade should I be looking for? I dont want it to be too white, or too yellow.

What he said. I have every bulb inside and out from these guys. No flickering, no complaints, very bright.

How many do you need for all the dome lights? 3 or 6?

You will need 6. There are 2 in each row.

Damn so about $100 huh? Kinda high for interior lighting. Maybe eventually I will do this, but probably will do LED tail lights first.

YES. Those are definitely my favorite mod to my truck so far, you will not be disappointed with those!

Hmmm.... $100 is not much actually as long as its good quality and I get the lighting that I want.. I think after spending $50k on the car, $100 is not much..

True, but I've spent about $100 on my interior lights so far (including those that I put in mom's Escalade) and they SUCK. So be careful on what you pick.
